"The most beautiful landscape in the world" (Alexandre Calame) Dominating a marvellous vista in the heart of Central Switzerland, Axenstein Golf Course has been known for the past 80 years. The course lies 700 metres (2,300 feet) above sea level, nestled in dramatic mountain scenery. In 2006/2007, a 9 hole course (par 31) was recreated on the historic terrain, with a challenge for everyone and a jewel of a clubhouse (also open to the pubic). It was opened at the end of May 2007. Designed as a private course On payment of a green fee, guests may play by invitation of a member or corporate member, or if a member of a partner club. At the discretion of the President or Captain, exceptions may be made for an increased green fee. Handicap required: Ladies and Gentlemen PR. Axenstein Golf Club offers membership to 50 Juniors at extremely favourable rates. |
